Great sketches. I love the bald-guy montage. Do you find draw character sheets for new characters from different angles a little like this or work it out as you go?

It's always pretty sweet to see your non-Cap related stuff. Your art for El Cazador was some of your best ever as far I'm concerned. I love the weird, streaming composition you come up with in your sketch books too.

Lovely stuff Steve. The bald guys are great especially the one by the middle on the right. What are you using to ink these?

Nice job Steve. The bald guy piece is interesting; where you trying to do a collection of different particular bald men (for example, I think the small one on the left looks like Captain America from Earth X, the one in the top middle left looks like Patrick Stewart, and the middle one looks kinda Skrully :)) or just experimenting with bald men in general?

They look really good, those bald men. Remind me about some of Big John Buscema's pencils, whenever he drew a common human. The best ones with difference are the headshots on the right, both up and down (the latter with a grim expression due to the great use of inking).

Nice stuff to see.

Buscema-esque - good call

Thanks everyone. These weren't character designs or anything, just me goofing around. The bald guy montage actually features some swipes from my pal Butch Guice, and I should have credited him in the post. Also - the bald guy page isn't inked. It's just pencil - level adjusted in Photoshop.
