The sketch cover I did for the the Hero Initiative's New Avengers project is up for auction on eBay. There's only one day left to bid and hopefully it will bring in a nice sum for this worthy charity. You can see (and bid on) the auction here.
wow, that's a beaut Steve. Are those gray tones watercolor washes? I've done a lot of marker sketches on those covers but haven't been brave enough to try anything really wet .
Michael - the gray tones are regular ink wash. Some of the sketch covers have better paper stock than others so I wouldn't recommend trying it unless you think the paper can handle it. This one seemed to work out okay.
Still one of my favourite Avengers line-ups ever. If Dane ever gets his own series Steve, you should be the only dude aloud to draw him.
